Sr/Principal Systems Developer

Job Description:

Edgeware is looking for a senior/principal software engineer to help us adapt our video delivery products for the North American market. If you have extensive (5+ years) experience in C++ or Java systems development, we'd like to speak with you.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in C++ or Java systems development
  • BS or MS in technical field
  • 8+ years software product development experience (must have shipped at least one major release)
  • 2+ years with SOA/Web Services
  • Proficiency with Java, C++, and Python
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols
  • Pluses: video control protocols, adaptive streaming, cable/telco, distributed/cloud large-scale systems
