Technical Assistance Center Engineers
Stockholm, Multiple Positions
Tasks:
- Provide a professional and knowledgeable interface from installation and implementation stages for end-customers such as Telia Sonera, KPN, and partners like Ericsson and Nokia-Siemens Networks.
- Provide telephone and potentially on site support for large service provider and operator environments implementing on-demand TV and video delivery solutions
- Co-ordinate with Executive management, pre-sales, project management and R&D resources
- Installation work and training at customer’s and partner’s premises
Office Location:
The Edgeware Headquarters, located in central Stockholm (see map).
Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer science or Electronics
- At least 5 years relevant work experience
- Good written and spoken English
- Excellent technical and customer problem solving capabilities
- Outgoing personality with a customer focus
- A thorough understanding of the following technologies:
— Linux operating systems
— IP network design and operation
- Preferred additional qualifications:
— Scripting languages, such as Python
— Programming languages, such as C++
— Web technologies, such as HTML, PHP, Javascript, Silverlight, Flash
— Database technologies, such as MySQL
— Streaming technologies, such as RTSP, HTTP, RTMP
