Who are you and what is your personal motto?
I am a fun-loving and easy going person, who has always loved to travel. I am currently learning about different culture and traditions across Europe.
On a personal note I was born in Chennai, raised and educated in Bangalore. Being brought up by working parents, I have been taught to be independent and with strong values.
I graduated from India with a Bachelors in Telecommunication Engineering and thereafter worked in Bangalore for 4 years before moving to Stockholm with my husband.
My personal motto in life is to “Just go with the flow”… and it seems to work pretty well for me.
What do you do at Edgeware?
I work with the R&D team here at Edgeware. I currently work as Project Leader for OTT services on cloud platforms. I have taken the opportunity to groom my management styles and pursue my interests in management as a long term goal.
Additionally, I also contribute as a Test Engineer, this helps me continue to work with my strengths and stay in touch with technology.
Why did you start working for Edgeware?
I quit my job in Bangalore as a Test Engineer before I moved to Stockholm, hoping to find a new challenge here. With no contacts in the city, I decided to use LinkedIn as a platform to contact companies.
My first interaction with the employees was quite warm and having worked in the past with routing and communication, this was a new domain with an opportunity to expand my technical skills. It was exactly what I was looking forward to. “What you seek is seeking you!” has been true for most of my experiences.
What do you enjoy the most with your job?
Edgeware is a place with a good balance between work and fun. The workplace and people enable you to explore opportunities without boundaries. This motivates me to work to my potential.
Most importantly, your colleagues play a key role to maintain the happiness quotient. Working here you can be sure to be around people who embrace new ideas, welcome diversity and practice open communication.
