Edgeware Grows Industry Team Expertise for North American Cable

Cable professional, Margit Tritt, joins Edgeware to strengthen North American strategy

STOCKHOLM – April 16, 2013 –Edgeware, the technology leader in distributed video delivery, today announces that Margit Tritt has been appointed Director of Business Development, North American Cable. In this role, Tritt will have responsibility for identifying the next generation cable and broadband TV services that will benefit from Edgeware’s delivery technologies and for creating solutions to address them.

Tritt brings more than 17 years of experience to Edgeware. Previously, Tritt held roles at Woomera Group Ltd., Vubiquity, EchoStar, CableLabs, ILOG and AVS. Tritt has been in the cable, pay-TV technology and telecommunications industries for much of her professional career where she held business development, account management, product and project management and developer roles. Additionally, Tritt served seven years in the USAF as a field application engineer and crew chief on IBM mainframe computer systems.

Tritt received a Masters of Science in engineering management from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in applied mathematics, computer science from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Tritt is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified and graduated from the Women’s Vision Leadership Institute.
